AI-powered interactive art for events.

The Red Ear is an interactive AI art installation we built for TED AI Vienna. Tasked with creating a new kind of AI art experience for the event, we built a custom installation to create a collective, iterative and visual artwork over the course of three days. Each interaction builds on the previous one, creating a dynamic and evolving piece of art.
Guests speak their ideas into the iconic red ear and watch as AI transforms their words into more or less surreal imagery. Part performance, part play — it turns small talk into something worth framing.
How it works
Start with a base image, chosen by you or your guests. Speak your idea — tell The Red Ear what to add, remove or transform. In seconds, a new image appears, evolving the artwork in front of the entire room.
Each generation gets its own QR code, so guests can revisit their creations afterwards and explore the full chain of transformations they helped make.
Why it works at events
Unlike photo booths or passive installations, The Red Ear gets people talking, laughing and collaborating. The golden frame and large screen make it a striking focal point, and the interaction is genuinely playful — it rewards curiosity and breaks down the usual networking ice.
It is built for corporate events, conferences and exhibitions, private parties and weddings, and cultural institutions interested in an accessible, human-centred take on AI-generated art.
Setup & logistics
Now also available for hire for events in and around Vienna. We handle setup and all technical support — installation takes around 30 minutes on-site, and the scheduling is flexible across daytime conferences, evening galas and weekend celebrations.
